Artivism ‒ The persuasive power of artistic productions
Films, novels and plays are especially able to reach people’s hearts and trigger changes in their mindsets. Karam Aouini from Tunis puts it in a nutshell: “Artivism is a compelling way to combat hostile attitudes toward our community, and a beautiful alternative and powerful means of raising awareness for greater acceptance of LGBTIQ people.”
